Multiple Brand Development for Acorn Education and Care

Acorn Care and Education is one of England's foremost providers of education and care for the most vulnerable and hardest to place young people. Their specialist professionals provide the highest standard of education and care for over 500 children and young people in well-resourced schools and high-quality residential settings throughout the country. So we are delighted that they have asked us to give branding and communications support to some of their schools.

Initially we’ve been doing individual pieces of work, often to tight deadlines, for six of the schools: Belmont, Grange Therapeutic School, Heath Farm, Oakfield House and Waterloo Lodge. So far we’ve produced newsletters, brochures, adverts and e-shots. And now we have agreed a costing framework for work with eight schools in 2010/2011, to improve their publicity and develop their brand identities into prospectuses and other publicity materials.

Sue Race, our senior designer, says: “Each school is offering a different service and is treated as independent. So it’s been decided to give each one its own look and feel, and we will be working very closely with the Marketing and Communications Officer at Acorn to make sure each school’s unique offer is communicated clearly. I’m looking forward to bringing more consistency to each school’s communications.”
