our green policy

Wherever possible we strive to be green through the services we offer, the suppliers we use and everyday running of the studio. Our policy is to continually gauge our impact on the environment by various means.

Since moving into our new studio last summer, we have changed our energy supplier to Bizz Energy, who offer a 100% renewable energy package, meaning our electricity is now supplied from sources including onshore and offshore wind and hydro-power. We’re also in the process of changing all our lighting to be more energy efficient and we re-use and recycle all waste paper. We’re also trying to encourage other residents in the building to join forces with us in a paper recycling scheme. We use Ecover cleaning products for cleaning the studio, which are bought in bulk and refilled when empty. All our radiators are fitted with temperature gauges and timers to limit their output, and all electrical equipment that is not in use is turned off. We try to make older computers available for re-use where possible by offering them to local schools and colleges or to local charity organisations as appropriate.

For client promotional items we have sourced various suppliers of ethically-sound products, such as drinks coasters made from recycled car tyres and unbleached tote bags made from natural fibres. We encourage all our clients to purchase from these sources and welcome any feedback to help us stay green.
