connecting
Homer Creative have a long history of developing and implementing initiatives in the community and are always open to working on projects where we have the chance to use our skills in a different way to connect with people and communities.
We have edited and produced community magazines, created photographic projects and curated exhibitions, designed disability and literacy campaigns, worked with pupils from special schools and been involved with anti-racist and diversity work.
Right now we are working with a group of residents in Handsworth, Birmingham to create a sustainable magazine called Hands on Handsworth.
pulling things together
We love it when our clients ask us, "can you sort this for us?"
Often clients are surprised to find we have the skills in-house to do it and if not we can bring associates in to the team. We've organised a re-launch day for a voluntary sector organisation, sorted the catering for an archeological dig, reorganised the internal layout of a resource building, and organised a series of half-day seminars in venues around the country to promote life-long learning. And we've served on a steering committee running a national research project on life-long learning.
So if you are looking for someone to do something different or out of the ordinary give us a try.
